Xiaomi has finally unveiled the highly anticipated Redmi Note 15 Pro, Pro 5G, and the top-of-the-line Pro+ models for the global market. The series, which made waves in China in recent months, stands out in its international versions with some surprising hardware changes and massive battery capacities. In particular, the 200 MP camera and IP69K durability certification are redefining standards in the mid-range segment.
Pro and Pro 5G: Endless Power
The Redmi Note 15 Pro duo addresses the biggest problem users face – charging – by significantly increasing battery capacity:
- Redmi Note 15 Pro: 6,500 mAh battery and 45W fast charging.
- Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G: 6,580 mAh silicon-carbon battery and 45W fast charging.
- Reverse Charging Support: The Pro 5G model can charge other devices via cable at 22.5W, while the standard Pro model charges at 18W.
In terms of screens, both models opt for a flat design. The Pro 5G offers a 6.83-inch panel with 1.5K resolution, while the standard Pro model comes with a 6.77-inch FHD+ display. Both screens boast high-end values such as a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,200 nits of brightness.
The most powerful in the series, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, presents a significantly different character compared to the Chinese version. Instead of the 50MP main camera in the Chinese model, the global model features a 200MP ISOCELL HPE sensor. This sensor aims to compensate for the lack of a telephoto lens with 2x and 4x lossless digital zoom capabilities.
Charging Revolution: The 90W charging speed in the Chinese model has been increased to 100W in the global version. The 6,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery charges much faster as a result.
Processor: At the heart of the device is the efficiency-focused Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Durability: The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the body offers full protection against water, dust, and high-pressure water jets with IP68 and IP69K certifications.
The entire series comes with Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 out of the box. Xiaomi’s new AI package offers advanced features as standard, such as removing unwanted objects from photos (AI Erase Pro), eliminating reflections, and improving image quality. Additionally, the “Offline Communication” feature in the Pro+ model allows for voice calls between devices even when there is no network coverage.

Xiaomi has not yet shared the exact retail prices for these new devices, but details for the European and Turkish markets are expected to be clarified soon.
